The Union Home Secretary, Shri R.K. Singh announced the results of the National Architectural Design Competition for the National Police Memorial (NADC for the NPM) at an official ceremony held here today and gave away awards to the three prize winningcompetitors.
The First Prize was awarded to a team of two professionals – Mr. Siddhartha Talwar (Architect),andMr.NikhilDhar(LandscapeArchitect).
The Second Prize was awarded to a team of three professionals comprising Mr. Saket Jain, Architect, Mr. Sachin Jain, Architect, and Ms Ritu Jain, Landscape Architect.
The Third Prize was awarded to a team of three professionals – Ms Anita Tikoo Matange, Architect, Mr. Vijay Matange , Architect, and Ms Sroboshi Das, Landscape Architect.
All the three teams are based in New Delhi. Cash awards of Rs five lakh, Rs. three lakh, and Rs. one lakh were presented to the three prize winning entries along with citations.
